Background: China easy-credit policy, impact of speculation fund and lack of labor-force generate an upsurge of foodstuffs prices.

At the beginning of last harvest season (September 2009), Price of dehyadrated RBP was 3800USD/MT (FOB) or so. It steadily went up to 4300USD/MT (FOB) until new crops came into the market in September 2010.

Most clients ordered new crops of RBP at the earliest time with favorable prices (compared with market price now) in October 2010. As we notice, these quantities have not been fulfilled yet due to the lack of the hand-select labor force and supply shortage of raw-materials.

Near future market price will be stable in a highplat form. During site inspection, It is still obvious the pressure from labor-force shortage. Even old grannies join in hand select process and wages for workers rise simultaneously. More raw materials are stored in order to avoid the price impact.
